Bang for the buck

We are looking to upgrade motorhomes. Price range $30,000 to $50,000. Slides are a plus, longer is better to me, bigger motor is better. I've heard CC's are really well made with solid cabinetry, gillig chassis that drive great, and overall high quality. I don't mind spending more money, up to 50K, to get more motorhome. We are not going to live in it or be full time. I see there are Magna, intrigues, allures, intrigues, affinities. Do you guys have any recommendations about which model is best bang for the buck? Thanks!

If you prioritize slides over length, you'd find different options. Would you prefer a larger coach non slide, vs a shorter coach with say 1 or 2 slides?

If no slide, but say in the 40' length. Look for older Concept's. Even one that fits your price range that needs some TLC, with the effort/coin - would be a rolling classic of a coach way ahead of it's time. Great quality, and for the era, content above and beyond mere mortal coaches.

If say two slides are important to you, check out Intrigue's like this one (Caution: I have not looked it over closely. Presented as representative of what is available.)

A bit older, but with a classic CC look, and well thought of coach, and this one a bit lower mileage:

These were two possibilities. If you can give the gang some more info on which of these, or say research the older 36-40' Concepts, and then let us know which one floats your boat. You'd get more specific input!

Best, and looking forward to this thread, as I have a family member going thru the same thought process and price point!

Best,
Smitty

Personally I believe the Intrigue is the best option when it comes to budget, and performance.

A 1999 or 2000 year model would be in your price range. These would have one slide up front.

Don't get in a hurry. Look at all models. You'll know when you find the one.

CC's are well made and as a result are heavy too.

Goodluck with your search.
