Ok. I have searched and can't come up with the solution I need. I have damaged one of the cargo/basement/storage bay doors. I wanted to remove it to take to a friend to fix and repaint figuring he may cut me a deal if he could work on it inside instead of in the parking lot. It is a "C" type of hinge and I have removed the gas shock and drilled out the rivets(shooting in the dark there
). I have also removed a couple of stops up where the hinge is located. All they seem to do is prevent sliding back and forth. Do you have to take off a trim piece and slide it all the way down or am I missing something??
