Bedroom tv change out

When I purchased coach last August previous owner changed out front tv. Bedroom tv was like a 12 inch. Changed out to a 28 inch. Mounted on a swing out articulating arm so can use space behind tv for storage. Making a filler piece for the bottom.

I did pretty much the same with our previous Dutch Star. Ended up that the DW liked the TV on it's stand on the bedroom counter better than up high. When we traded it in I put it back on the articulated arm and left the stand and screws in the rig. So far, for what little we got to use it the one in the Magna seems to be OK as is, but it's down lower too.

Your original configuration i just like my '98 Allure. Is the new TV on the arm not a head banger? What is the fabric piece above the window valance for? All looks nice.

Ltcol mac17, the fabric piece above the valance is probably original decoration from the factory. We have the same thing, except ours is a pleated rosette in matching color to the bedspread.

We've had our rear TV out of the cabinet for over a year, and are in the process of converting the space to a two adjustable shelves. Having matching woodwork doors fabricated, and they'll be mounted in May.

In the back of the storage area, behind a removable back panel, is where I have our solar systems circuit breakers. We have 5 240W 48V panels, feeding down to the MidNite Classic 150 controller. Each run is fed thru this circuit breaker, box, so that I can turn off on panels to check for individual outputs, or to do maintenance if ever needed.

We have had two RV's, and so far watched one movie (on VHS, to give you and idea how long ago) while in the bedroom.

I'll probably get a 32" LCD to carry in the back closet. We'll be able to take that outside for tailgating. And we'll have it for putting on the counter in the bedroom if we decide we ever need TV viewing there. (I have a neat HD Wireless gizmo, that can support viewing in both locations.)

Congrats on your mod, it looks neat!

Best to all,
Smitty

The tv folds flat against the face of the existing tv cabinet at the same angle. The tv is under two inches thick. I will probably never pull it out to watch tv but if I do my shoulder goes right under the tv. There is no way to bumb your head unless you were to bend over walk forward and then stand up. I think the previous owner changed all the coverings when we spruced up the rv. I have receipts for the fabric, granite floor, carpet, new windows and polishing the counter tops.
