Bose 321 Sub-Woofer

Our 2003 Allure has a Bose 321 Home Theater System, that stopped working/turning on a short time ago. We've never used it that much ,nor did the previous owners. I called Bose today and they said to check the sub-woofer, that that's the power source for the DVD/CD player. So where would you find the sub-woofer? The only place I haven't looked is under the sofa. Anyone ever dealt with their sub-woofer? Thanks everyone, this site has been a wealth of information for us diys.

Mine is in the console behind the drivers seat. You can see it if you look close. I have a 2002 Affinity, not sure if there the same.

Ours is under the kitchen sink, enclosed in a wooden box. I believe you will also find a power source under the sink, or at least we had one in our 2004 Allure, built in Sept of 2003.

Best of luck to you,
Smitty

Our 2004 Allure, built in 2003, also has the Bose 321 system in it and both speakers, one above driver and one above passenger, experienced a broken clasp mount on the rear of the speakers that clasps onto the wall post. Any way to replace the clasp mount or a phone number for Bose that they answer or return phone calls? I've had no luck in over a year. Thx

Our 2004 Intrique has the Bose 321 subwoofer unit under gas range, behind a removable partition.
a/c outlet is also under there.
Has anyone found a way to reduce the awful bass (thump) from the subwoofer? Maybe a resistor in series?
