Broken baggage door handle

Today in a moment of stupidity, I grabbed onto one of the chrome baggage door handles and, when it seemed hard to open, I pulled a bit harder and it snapped off in my hand. I then realized the door was locked . We do these things to ourselves .

I looked on the Trimark website thinking they must be Trimark. I saw nothing like it (mine are 5 1/4" x 5 1/4"). So, before I call CC does anyone know of another source for these?

Yes I did. It seems responses to CC questions are hit or miss so I may post on both forums to make sure I get an answer. Kevin thinks he has them but wants me to send him a pic.

Have you tried some place like Camping World or the like. I found a new screen door handle and a latch for our sliding closet door there. I realize these are very common items, but perhaps your replacement handle could be found as well.

I checked CW, the Trimark website, and one of those Stag-Parkway RV supply catalogs that so many RV parts stores use. I saw nothing like what is on my rig. I am sure it is/was made by Trimark so they may have it and just not show it on their website.

However, if Kevin Waite has them, I will buy from him. Apparently he has been very helpful to CC owners in many respects. I believe he has a stock of parts for CC's that are otherwise hard to find.
