Broken Sway Bar Brackets IFS Holland Neway
Good Morning Every one, I'm looking at replacing my Sway bar brackets on my 06 inspire 51651, can anyone tell me what should be done before I crawl under. Should I leave the MH on the stabilizing jacks or should the MH be at rest / normal riding height. any advice would be appreciated

What type of chasis do you have?

Ok, I have no experince with DynoMax.
With my F-53 if the rig is on level ground then there is no pressure on the sway bar, thus easy to connect and reconnect the swaybar. Same if on jacks....hope this helps.

Thank you navychaps, I was thinking the same, no pressure no bind, the sway bar is fine all I'm replacing is the brackets one at a time .

and were did you get them?
I have one broken now and 1000 mi to go!

You might try Kevin Waite Country Coach tech, lot of guys here use him. I have ordered parts from him in the past.

Thanks
Called Kevin and he has what I need.
But wanted to get rolling so I pulled the broken bracket and beat it back into shape then used a $6.00 HD 2 3/4" muffler clamp to hold back in place. Works great and got to my next destination.

Sway bar mounts
Broke a sway bar mount a while back. Held it back in place with a muffler clamp to get back on the road. (1500 miles ago) I ordered a new one and have it BUT found that the other one is broken as well!!!
So I ordered an other one as well as a set of connecting rods with bushings.
My question is what am I doing to break these things, Or could there be something else wrong that may be making this happen?

Sway bar transfers motiin from one side to the other.
It could be that bracket is not strong enough to maintain the pivot point stresses.
Or the suspension is moving farter than the sway bar can move and it is being ripped away from frame.
Photos are needed!
One could take measurements to see how far the system can move and guess.
Or maybe there could be some ME folks here that could look at the bracket and guess at the design.
Maybe it can be supported by additional backing steel?
Please post some photos!

So far, so good, with our 04 40' Allure with Tag. SN 31017.
As a former 03 Allure owner cautioned me about keeping and eye on these. I've added them into my regular 'crawl under and inspect'. I did find a loose bolt the first time, and tightened it up.
Speculation that extreme leveling ranges can put undue stress on some of the components. And well lets face it, roads are getting worse almost everywhere... and I'll stop short on my opinion about our gas tax funds going to bike lanes, trolleys, hov lanes, etc... Vs going into maintaining our crumbling highway infrastructure... (Oh darn, perhaps my feelings came thru  !)

Sorry for the slow response, I was making my way out of a pot hole... No coverage down that low...
San Diego area when we lived in state. Now we just swing back to San Diego to visit our 'vacation home' where my wife's Mom is now living. We're out of South Dakota now.
But many states have roadways in need of attention...
And sorry to have sidetracked the thread on Sway Bar !

Broken Sway Bar Mounting Bracket
I have a 2005 Inspire that broke the sway bar mounting bracket on the second trip I went on. I removed it, two bolts, and took it to a local welding shop that welded it back together good as new. However, when I got home I ordered new mounting brackets and bushings from Kevin Waite, (He's the go to man), I now carry a spare mounting bracket. It's an easy 15 minute replacement job, if you have a spare! There is no pressure on the sway bar when the coach is parked. Easy to get to and replace.
