Gregg at CC/Wini just emailed me this morning and said their old CC server is down and they are waiting on computer parts before they can access the build sheets. Could be a couple months he said.

I wonder what they need that takes that long to get? Back when I was building/servicing/running a server farm or setting up Freightliners SAN we could get parts overnight or maybe the day after at the longest.
Probably doing an upgrade to what Winnie uses so they're compatible would be my guess. No use just repairing something if it won't work with what Winnebago has/uses.

This has been going on a long long time , the old and the "new" . We have lost so much history when a company dies. Actually even easer in this electronic world. It surely is a good thing when the demise of a car or truck or ? Just can not quit cold Turkey, but are required to keep ample supply of parts and service for so many years. I remember mid level management at Packard in 56 taking records and drawings out the door by stuffing then in the huge air cleaners on the Caribbean.
