Captainís Chair Upholstery is Wearing

The back of my driver's chair upholstery has holes at the seams from wear. I suspect it may be from the use (or overuse) of the built-in massage feature.
Has anyone attempted to fix or re-upholstered theirs? Any ideas will be appreciated!

I'm going through the process of deciding on replacing a recliner & couch, or re-upholster them. The conversations I have had so far make it sound like the cost will be about the same for either choice. So I am going to try a leather "repair" guy, who says he can make it look like new. It's a risk I'm sure, but I think worth a try.

I contacted Villa International, their Elkhart, IN, office. They asked me to submit a photo of the white tag and the area of the chair needing repair. I'll post an update when I hear.

Update

Just an update on my seat - I found out that Villa International has a Seat Division in Elkhart, IN. I called and send them some pictures of my seat that contained seat information and the area needed repair. They told me I could bring it down and they will repair it. There are five bolts holding the seat to floor. It came off easy, but it is a very heavy seat - definitely takes two people to take it in and out of the coach. Dropped it off one day and picked it up the next day - all fixed.
