CC Intrigue Air Filter #

Was servicing the coach today and found that the air filter has no identifiable numbers on it to match up a new one. Neither the previous owner or myself has taken the time to do that. I come to you with hat in hand, to see if one of you more responsible owners might have that # in your files and would share it with me.

It is a 2006 42' Intrique with a 525Cat. A Fleetgard or Donaldson # would help, but any # can be cross referenced. If anyone has that info handy, I would appreciate the help. Otherwise I will have to go through the more arduous route of going to different parts houses and try to match it up. Doing it on the phone today did not get me very far.

Thank you. Norbert

Well my Allure has the 425 Cummins but if CC used the same round radial seal filter set up in many of their rigs, you might try a Baldwin RS3518. It is a big radial seal filter element.

Ours is listed as a "Carquest DC FLG AF25668" for $151.26 on the Cummins repair order.

CC Intrigue Air Filter

Thank you so much for your quick reply, SML Ranger & Mr D, I suspect it may be the one that Mr D, listed for his 525 Cat but I will check it out
tomorrow and report back.

I just knew there were owners out there that had their hats on straight and had good records. I'll get it right.

Umm, we have the 650 ISX Cummins, not the CAT so take my info with a grain of salt and check more thoroughly!

CC did a great job on the intake setup. With our '02 Dutch Star (8.3L ISC) the filter minder would show 15 with a new filter if I ran it hard up a grade. The CC with a much bigger engine (15.0L ISX) still shows 0 after the same run. And yes, the filter minder is working!

CC Intrigue Air Filter

The mystery is solved. The numbers I had did not match my filter size so I took it down to Premier MC who is a CC rep. They could not find a match and would have to research it too. I did see a '07 Intrigue in their sales lot and I asked to look at that one in hopes that it matched. It had the Cat 525, 42' length with a WIX air filter and it matched my old filter size. Hallaluja

I was toying with just swapping MH but wisdom prevailed and I just bought the Wix air filter #46623 instead. Just for fun, I had someone cross reference it to a Donaldson or a Baldwin and see if it matched the numbers you provided me. They didn't. (Baldwin was PA2839, Donaldson was P-522874)

It shows me that every make, model, year and engine size has the option of having used different size filters and part #. By the way, Premier MCS (520-624-2024) might be a good source of help to others in the Tucson area. They deal primarily with CC and other high end coaches.

Again, thank you for everyone's help and ideas. I now have it etched in stone.

Interesting. They show the part # and a correct picture, yet they don't have an application where it is used.

As few miles as are on the '06 CC (39K) and as few times that the filter needs changing, I suspect that this one will last me until I downsize or meet my maker. lol
