Coach sway

I have a 1997 Country Coach Affinity that has 38,000 miles on it. I bought the coach last year and I notice that it has a lot of sway when you go over bumps and dips while turning but great going down the road. Do I need new shocks or air bag adjustments to the suspension? I really love this coach and the previous owner always kept it stored indoors as I do also and it still looks brand new with great exterior finish and interiors. But it has this sway that I hope I can fix and ride more solid and not rock so much going over bump and dip while turning.

Thank you all in advance for all of your input and road knowledge.

Replacing shocks can only benefit handling and ride. Super Steer Motion Control devices can greatly reduce coach sway and pitch.
I'm going to replace my shocks, they are the originals. Mileage is not the problem with mine(41K), they can gradually fail with age.

I replaced my shocks with some Koni's. Man, what a difference in the ride and handling. Best money I ever spent on my MH.

I would have someone check the ride height to make sure all is correct with that. Also, just make sure all the air bags are in good shape and there are no obvious issues with the suspension or the valves associated with the air ride system.

Certainly if the shocks are original, I would replace them. A lot of us are satisfied with Koni shocks, their SP3 adjustable is a good choice. Some folks swear by Road Kings and they are great but quite expensive.

The Supersteer Motion Control Valves are great and the folks at Source Engineering in Coburg, OR also have their own motion control valves.

I'll bet you have the original shocks. You can pretty much figure that they're shot just due to age and wear. I have Road King and love them. Others swear by what they have, each to their own. Also if you haven't done so get new tires if they are over 5-7 yrs old.
