Coaxial cable

2001 CC Affinity There is a coaxial cable running from under the switch and shift panel, next to the drivers seat. It has some sort of special adapter on the end. It is long enough to connect to the Bose unit, but is outside of the Bose cabinet with all the connections in it. It has a cover on the cable, which is the same material as the seat covers. Assume it is factory installed. Does anybody know what it is used for?

Cell phone antenna?? Is there an antenna on the roof for a cell phone? Usually made by Wilson.

Can you post a picture of the connector? Are there any numbers on the coax? Every wire in a CC has some kind of number on it so it should be easy to track it down using the wiring diagrams.

The loose end does look like the end in the picture. Thanks so much for your input. Must be 2001 technology.
