I just tried to find rear inner wheel studs using parts info from my Gillig Bus manual and the Parts Desk at Gillig Bus for our 1995 chassis.

That info led me to studs that were unlike the ones removed from my rig.

The tire dealer carried the broken stud to several truck parts houses locally and found a match in stock. I had him buy two extras studs and nuts for each side of the rig for my future use. Cost about $12 a set through the dealer. 1/2 that if I bought directly.

So, take the old stud to the parts store would be my advice.

finally have sorted but not because of any Country coach help who replied twice advising cannot assist so talk to Gillig. 2 emails to Gillig requesting help providing vin and engine numbers and no responses. Tried several truck and bus outlets in Oz no luck. Pure luck the Alcoa wheel factory had some outdated stock on a shelf and the Vic State Manager was fantastic in supplying them to me

Well done!

One has to wonder what is so special about wheel studs that requires so many different varieties for each size wheel and therefore some that become obsolete.
