We purchased a 2007 Allure 430 about 1 1/2 months ago and having fun getting it the way we like it. In the bedroom on the passenger side we have storage shelves behind 2 sets of doors (upper and lower). We were thinking of removing the shelves and making drawers there instead. But the problem we ran into is that the passenger rear slide does not allow the door to open completely. Looking at it, the wall and slide wall are apart 3-4 inches apart. Is this normal? Should these two surfaces come together completely? The other little thing that bothers me is the latching of the outside storage doors. Only a couple of them actually latch when closed. Most of them require a hard push at or near the latch. It requires me to go around the coach and pull on the bottom of the door to see if it latched. I have tried to look to see if there is an adjustment, but do not see any. About the only easy fix I see is put some type of shim behind the "U" shaped bracket, so as to catch the plastic part on the door. Does any else had this problem or know of a fix?
Thanks

Our last rig was an 06 Allure. There was a gap on that slide but I don't remember it being as much as 4"...it was definitely large enough to be able to put your hand in the gap. All of the other slides were fairly flush. I think it is because that slide is hydraulic/flat floor design.

Regarding the latches, what we woudl do is close the compartment gently (the plastic tabs can fairly easily break) and then push on each side of the compartment by the latch -- you shoudl be able to hear it click into place. Just pulling up on the compartment may not reveal if one latch didn't catch.

Understand about the gap. You look at something and think you have a solution and dang if there is not something in the way of a great idea. I have tried pushing the door in around the locks and I do hear a "Clicking" sound when the plastic part gets caught behind the "U" shaped bracket, I guess it just not the way U want it to work. The other little problem I'm having is that i do hear the click of the plastic part, but after I key lock the door and try the handle, the handle comes up just enough to allow the door to come open. I probably going to have to take the door handle apart and see what and why it will not lock and secure the door. thanks for your input .
