Dash air conditioner ?

My dash air conditioner works however it now only puts cool air out of the upper vents. This happened a few years ago and a tech replaced a fuse and the air worked properly. I do not remember what fuse was replaced, and have thus far not located any blown fuses, anyone else had this problem, and can lead me to the proper fuse. The coach is a 2004 Country Coach Allure.

Thanks

Fuse for the vacuum pump which controls the HVAC doors.

There should be a vacuum pump someplace that operates these.

Since it is not running it may be difficult to find but likely is in electrical bay closest to front maybe under driver.

Look for something that looks like a small air compressor...like those cig adaptor units for flats.

Check your manual for vacuum pump fuse.

Ours failed to defrost mode only.

I removed the passenger dash kick panel and located the large plastic tank. A Vacuum hose had fallen out of it's connection. Plugging them back together fixed it.

Ford & Dodge diesel pick-up use a similar system , Auto Zone & Napa have them , although the electrical connection may differ.

I replaced the vacuum pump and everything now works, the vacuum pump that was in the coach was a Ford product.
