Dead batteries
I'm new to my 2005 CC davinci 40 foot inspire. We've had it stored for 3 months and came down to use it and found the batteries were dead. How do we jump it? Is there a special jump area for triple A?

Your house batteries and the chassis battery is dead?
The easiest way it to jump the house batteries and then start your on board generator. With that running, the inverter will charge the house batteries which will then charge the chassis battery through the Echo Charger

Just use your car and jumper cables connected to the house batteries. Start the generator. Then do as dons instructs above.
Note: Always carry jumper cables. They will come in handy another time with all the batteries you are going to manage.
Eventually, the generator will charge the house batteries and you can use the chassis battery boost switch to assist in starting the engine. Drive it for 50 miles to get the chassis battery back to strength.

when those chassis batteries are dead...good luck jumping anything. I tried all sorts of stuff and eventually had to hook up a regular charger to the chassis battery to get things moving again.

This points out the need to occasionally check the coach when in storage and start the generator and let it run a couple of hours. I generally did this at least weekly. Overkill, perhaps, but the peace of mind was priceless.

I have one of these plugged into the power port on the dash so I can see the voltage all the time, also have one in my truck.

We do something similar. Every two to four weeks now as I also shut the chassis battery off as well as house batteries. Also learned the inverter can be turned on even wen house batteries are disconnected. This burned my house batteries down dry. Surprisingly, new distiller water, a full charge, then an equalize charge brought them back. Been using them for months now.
Three point check for me: inverter off, house battery disconnected, and now chassis battery disconnect when it is parked at storage for several weeks or more. Run the genet every 3 weeks also.

I have one 130 watt solar panel and it will keep up with all the parasitic load issues when the batteries are turned off or on and everything else shut off. I also had the heater running during a cold snap while in storage and rand down the house batteries to the point that there wasn't enough charge to start the generator. I jumped the house batteries from my car and was able to crank up the generator and charge all batteries up.
