Dead Intrigue

This morning I drove my coach, ran great! After stopping for about 30 minutes I got back into the coach and noticed the steps didn't retract. I then tried to start the engine and everything is dead. I have tested the battery and it is good. Does anyone know of a breaker or fuse that might cause this?

Cheers,

Paul:

Thanks for the response Don.
I feel like a complete idiot as it turned out to be a simple dirty terminal on the battery. The coach is a 1999.

Regards,

Paul

Yep, those things happen. Had it happen to me once on a National product.

Country Coaches have crazy things going on that make no sense sometimes! That's partly why we've named ours Lucy -- always lots of explaining to do, and you never know what's going to happen next! We thought we were dead in the water and that it would be a hugely expensive bill, and it turned out to be a fuel filter and water separator.

Since it was a fuel filter and/or the fuel-water separator filter, your issue was not a Country Coach or a crazy issue but a maintenance issue.

Any diesel engine with that problem will be difficult to start or run or have low power, regardless of which Manufacturer built the house.

Thanks Dons2346 for your attempt to correct my posting "error".

You might want to reread my post a bit more thoroughly. It refers to the comments in post #4 and additionally specifically quotes that post.

I suspect you were mislead since the quote did not contain an attribution. Only the comments were quoted?
