I removed my black water and gray water tanks valve assembly to clean out a clog . Now I can't get it back together .How do I spread the tanks apart to get the piping back together.I have a 2000 country coach Intrigue

I would look for some expanding pliers. When you squeeze the handles the jaws open instead of close.

You should be able to get a helping hand to hold back the piping to re-install the valve assemblies. Did you remove the adjoining piping as well? If so you want to be carefully to spread out the pressure applied to the tank walls, so as to not puncture them when spreading tanks apart. Use some pieces of 1/2" plywood, say 6" square on the walls and a pry bar or 2x4 for leverage. Good luck and keep us posted.

I had the same problem on my 99 Magna. I never was able to put all the pieces in the space and I saw no way of expanding the space without major operation. I finally left a rubber seal out of the grey water valve input side - I was able to install everything else, of course there is a small leak of grey water into the valve but is stopped by the valve cap. It does not cause much of a problem, just a little grey water comes out from the grey water valve when servicing (when you remove the grey water cap.)
