Drape Control Panel P/N 975123

This is my new project, Drape Control Box. Called Sterling (actually near my home) but they stopped making them when the economy tanked and they won't even look at mine. I did send an email to Country Coach to see if they have any sitting on their shelves. Any ideas?

This is actually kind of silly we can just close the drapes with our hands but this is the last of getting everything working. If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated. I haven't been able to find anyone that works on small circuits to look at it or fix it. Drivers side works, passenger side sometimes but most of the time it will not close the drapes.

Drape control box

Max,

Last time I needed an electronic circuit card, I called Oregon Motor Coach. They had one and sent it right out. You might try them.

Luck,
Bob

OMC (541) 762-1505 would be sure to have the part. They told us last summer that they were going to send some techs to a class to learn how to install the automatic shades inside the front window . . . anyone hear anything about that? Local vendors will do it, but I'm not convinced. If my drape motor went out, I'd be more inclined!

I know nothing about drape control boxes, but if it were mine, I would open the control box, wiggle some wires, spray a small amount of electrical contact cleaner, and then try it again.

Since it works sometimes, it sounds like a poor and inconsistent electrical contact.

You also might use a meter on the switch or short the leads together. Perhaps the switch is the culprit.

Did meter it out and had power to the box and only out one side. Did check the switch first and actually put in a new one then went to the control box. Did find one at Oregon Coach.

Our two front motorized shades work. If they ever go out they are going manual.
