Echo Charger

I have an Echo Charger and the fuse is in the Positive line from the Echo Charger to the battery. Have had mine for 17 years and still works great. New ones available on Amazon.

Two in-line fuses on mine. Each in a yellow fuse holder.

Mine are located "inline" on the wires from the echo charger to the combiner solenoid. Obviously these wires are in the bay with the echo charger and combiner solenoid. One wire on mine is yellow and one is yellow with red stripe.

They are the glass tube automotive fuse, type AG.

Hope this helps.

One thing puzzling me regarding my echo is i have always been suspect if its working right. I have steady green light but there is no voltage on the output wire to the chassis batt. The manual makes note of an internal fuse. Do you guys get output on your echo? I have 13.6 on the house and 12.5 on chassis. Maybe time for a magnum?

That is what mine did when it stopped charging. I replaced it with a magnum all is good now.

Not sure if this is exactly the problem you are having, but every so often, I need to reset the breaker that says, DOMESTIC ACR. (Automatic Charging Relay)

I do this when I notice that while I am driving, the House Batteries are not being charged.

Click on the thread below and you'll see the photo in the first post. I was also investigating my Echo Charger, but all I had to do was press this button in and all was good.

When my Xantrex echo charger went out, I also installed the Magnum Combiner. It works great and you can set it and forget it. In over 3 years l have not had to add any water to my chassis battery and just a few times to the house batteries.

Don, yes but it is an open bay. It's just road dust.

Just to help my overall knowledge...

Is the Magnum Combiner and the Echo Charger the same as this thing in mine?

Battery Link by Blue Sea.

If so, is it likely that this was changed out by previous owner when he upgraded my inverter? Or did CC use Battery Link's too?

Does anyone else have one of these?

Looks like it about the same as the echo charger where it is preset at X amounts of volts, where the Magnum you can set the volts you want to start and stop charging the batteries.
After looking close it does look like it is adjustable.
