Echo Charger not charging

The echo charger in my 06 cc magna is not charging the chassis batteries. The green led light on the xantrex echo charger is blinking . The manual gives several different reasons why it would do this but none of them seem to be the issue. Both the chassis batteries and house batteries were replaced less than a year ago along with two new magnum inverter/chargers.
The silver leaf controller seems to be functioning properly also.
This issue just started this week . I keep the mh inside and plugged in to shore power when not in use. When the engine is started, the batteries will charge. Anyone have ideas I would appreciate it, or is there someone I may call with this issue? I seem to remember from past threads that there is a gentleman that did work for CC that is good with support{for a fee which is ok with me}
Thanks for any help.

Most likely a bad echo charger - just had the same thing on my '07 Allure. Easy to replace and available on Amazon.

Barney is right! Get the Magnum available at most Marine Stores. More reliable and charges a little higher for about the same price or better if you shop.

The cheapest and best place to order anything made by Magnum Energy is at Magnum Energy ME-SBC Smart Battery Combiner Compatible with 12V or 24V Systems

The combiner is 96 bux and free shipping.

The Magnum battery combiner is the way I went when my EchoCharger failed. Works great in my Magna.

Think my Xantrex echo charger has two inline fuses--worth checking both before you junk the unit.....

echo charger

Thanks for all the input. I have checked the two inline fuses and they are ok. I will probably just go ahead and replace it as the led is solid green but still not charging.

Did E/C work before or is the rig new to you, so no history--have also seen the wires reversed for the E/C connections to the bat banks on some rigs.....believe it or not????

I'm kind of new to the RV but I have been a marine service tech for 40 years. Every echo charger I have ever installed charged the starting battery off the house bank and not the other way around. I have installed hundreds. Keep in mind that this is only a 15 amp charger. A steady green light means the battery voltage available for charging is at least 13 volts or more. If it's blinking, the charging voltage is less than 13 volts or the difference between the battery being charged and the charge source is more than 10 volts and the Xantrex will not charge. Chuck
