Echo to Magnum

My Xantrex Echo Charger went out so the wife got me for my birthday a new
Magnum Smart Battery Combiner. I left the old one in and installed the Magnum on
the other side where I can see it. So my question is, with 4, 6v house batteries
and 1 8D chassis battery where do you set the controls. Connect Voltage
(Disconnect Low V----High V) I have a Green light and with a volt meter plugged into the power port the chassis batteries showes 13.5 V I have turned the setting but it will not Disconnrct. Any help would be great.

If it were me, I'd call the manufacturer for a 'straight' answer

I did call, you need to be a road scholar to figure out what he said. He said I needed to run new wire and a lot of other stuff, don't think so I think I have it after trial and error, so far so good. Chassis batteries staying at 13.5V and the house batteries 13.0 to 13.5V

I did the switch on my 05 Inspire. I think they recommend the new wire to a heavier guage because of additional charging amperage available with the Magnum. Mine seemed to work fine with the old wiring.

I did go with larger wires from the Mugnum to the inline fuses and went from 20A fuses to 25A

2 Stroker: On the 03 Affinity we are going to replace with the Magnum- did you (excuse me,your wife bought it, right?) get a good price? Thanks for your input.

Do not call the charger company...

Do contact THE BATTERY company.

The baytery is what matters, mosy VRLA nayteries "float" at 2.25 volts per cell, wet ones different.

Locate the manufacturer and part number for the batteries, then contact their tech service and ask them what charging voltages are needed.

They may be aware of your equipment as well.
