Extended warranty

Looking at purchasing a 2006 era CC Magna Van Gogh with the 535 Cat and was wondering if anyone had purchased a service contract "warranty" for a similar unit and roughly what the cost was? The coach has a little over 50k miles on it.

Pretty mechanically inclined and can perform most repairs myself as well as the maintenance but the higher priced items like engine, radiator and things like this concern me the most.

We have one from Wholesale Warranties and has been great (as good as any warranty can be).

Pretty sure it was their top plan we bought about 3 years ago on our Rhapsody. Think it was roughly $9k for a 5 year plan. With the complexity of our coach, it has been worth it.

I plan on putting a wholesale warranty on mine in the spring. They wanted a little over 3k for a 2 year policy. We just purchased our first RV so I spent quite a bit of time researching the ESP's out there and wholesale came out on top for sure. The only reason I haven't signed up yet is I didn't see much point in doing it now while it's sitting in storage for a NY winter.

We just went through Wholesale Warranties and paid $3800.00 for a 4 year policy, covers just about everything. $200.00 deductible.

That is not as bad as I was thinking it was going to be, sounds like this would work for our situation. Mainly looking to get the big ticket items covered.

I was told by Wholesale warranties that they send someone out to go over the RV before they would open a policy. What exactly do they do and do they make you take it to a shop and put it up in the air or do they just come to you and give it a once over?

I've been dealing with them. They send an inspector to you and check your coach out. You have to be plugged in so they can test your inverters. After the stationary check, you go for a short drive. I haven't done it yet, but they made it sound pretty simple.

Yeah, that pretty much covers it. I don't have an inventor so I didn't need to be plugged in. They test all the systems to make sure they work. I just fired up the generator to test everything. My DVD/CD entertainment center would not power up so they added an exception to the warranty until I got it fixed. Turned out to be a loose fuse. They then draft an attachment to the warranty to include it back in.

Wholesale warranties

I have nothing but good to say about wholesale warranties.
They replaced my radiator no questions asked.
They did come out and inspect my coach and check the basic systems.
Good company,good service plan

I've got a Cornerstone extended warranty. Due to the age of my coach they only cover house components. Nothing related to the chassis. Its somewhat vague what they cover and not
