Fiberglass roof care

We have a 2002 CC Intrigue. I was up washing the roof today and noticed that a lot of oxidation was coming off when I washed it. It also seems to have a bunch of dimples that retain the dirt. Any suggestions on the best method and products out there to clean, seal and restore the roof?
Thanks

I also have an '02. To date all I have done is wash it wash it with a scrub brush. There has been some discussions about a product called "Red Max Pro" which is something used on bar tops. Lots of good reports on the product.

I am looking at a product called http://www.nationwidecoatings.com/PD...20-%20MSDS.pdf

There have been many CC owners that have put it on and are really satisfied.

I use my pressure washer carefully to remove most of the dimpled dirt. CC used to recommend application of Formula 303 several times per year to the smooth areas to reduce oxidation.

Red Max Pro is used on non-clear coated Fiberglass successfully. That might work on any smooth non-painted roof top. There is a thread on RV.Net currently that details the application process and the maintenance process.

I picked up a gallon of the Zep Wet Look and when I wash the coach next time I will use the Bar Keepers Friend a good soap and lots of water to rinse it off then put several coats of the Zep on see how it turns out. Complete with pics. Thanks

Just remember that you waxed the roof when you walk on it later. It could be very slippery!!!

Yes!
That's why I use fiberglass boat cleaner and wax! Best that I have found is 'Collinite's #920 Fiberglass Boat Cleaner" and 'Collinite #885 Heavy Duty Fleetwax"
Follow their directions, pretty simple way to keep the finish looking like new and protected. Good luck!
