Fire at Premier in Junction City

Fire this AM at Premier in JC. Looks like a lot of damage. News reports say there were 40 -50 coaches inside. Can see an Entegra Cornerstone parked outside.

I hope they have insurance to cover the damage!

WOW, hopefully they can get through this and remain in business. I just sent Gary and Louie a note, if they respond with something shareable I will post it.

I do wish Gary, Louie and all the gang at Premier well as they work their way through this.

It appears that it was contained in the coach storage area. At least 6 coaches were burned completely. Amount of damage to other coaches is unknown. Sadly, some people have lost their coaches to this tragedy.

Did not the former service manager from OMC just recently move to Premier along with a couple of OMC techs?

When were there last September, most/all of their consignment coaches were inside....they were stunning. Their insurance company will surely be writing some big checks. I also hope they can recover.

TV station in Eugene is reporting that six coaches were burned to the frame and many others considered inoperable due to damage (smoke, heat, etc.).

Unfortunate also that it occurred on Sunday when there was likely no one there who possibly could have intervened and prevented extensive damage.

Sending good thoughts to Premier, and also those individuals that had coaches impacted. Looking at their sites list of available coaches for sale, ~28 listed, if all of them were damaged - it was high number of CC's in the mix. Including many of the more rare smaller under 38' CC's.

And yes, Jim Cooley did move to Premier. Never confirmed if other techs made the move with him or not.

I've never done business with Premier, but know they were respected by other industry experts that I respect... I purposely stopped in a few years back to look things over, and to also meet a few of the people that former Holland Motor Home Salesman Steve Wilson identified to me as 'Good RV People!'.

Hope things are not as bad as the photo reflected.

Best to all,
Smitty

Just received a text from Susan Graham. The fire was ONLY in the storage building, but severely damaged 6 or 7 stored coaches stored inside. Showroom with coaches for sale is okay. Everyone is okay; nor injuries, thank goodness!

Here's the JCFD site with the 1st 4 shots of the fire. My guess is it started in one of the coaches. https://www.facebook.com/pg/junction...=page_internal
