Front Driver Slide Stuck
We were bringing in the front drivers side slide and it stopped. Tried to manually bring it in but again it stuck. Won't be able to get a mobile unit here until Tuesday afternoon but til then any suggestions on what may help?

It almost seems like something is jamming it on one side.

the first thing i would try is re-leveling the coach. can you extend the slide or is it stuck in either direction.

The slide runs on electric . The passenger side slide is the only hydraulic.

I have had this happen to the power slide, it was a buss fuse on top of the bay. I now carry around 50 different buss fuses, that I hope that I will never use.

That is just what I would be checking for in the basement. I had a roll of toilet paper that fell out of the package under the bed that jammed the bedroom slide. I couldn't believe that is all it took to jam the slide.

Oh wow! Toilet paper jammed. At one point we thought the computer equipment was weighing it down but thinking it should be strong enough for that.
We are under a tree. Some of our storms here have been fierce so even wondering if something blew in and caught.
At least we are dry and safe til it's repaired!

It may be a shear pin which would only move one end and jam. You can confirm by measuring each end checking distance of extension.

That does not sound like much. You can put a 3/4 wrench or socket at the end on each and confirm the pinion gear is turning. When you say it does not move does that mean you hear the motor but the slide wont move or is there no motor sound when you engage? Its a simple system and if equal distance very little to stop other then a physical blockage.

Roger went and tried to manually bring the slide back in but it's definitely stuck somewhere. It will only move about 2 inches either way. I'll let you know when we figure this out. ( repair guy) thanks for all your suggestions!!! Appreciate it.

It moves 2 inches...at each end of this 2 inches are the measurements still same relevent to the others?
When it is in between these places can you cause it to shake by dancing on it?
If so you could move slow while helper dances on floor to observe when and where something stops moving as that could be where something is binding.

Oh wow! That's something we can try in the morning! Never even thought of that and maybe we can jiggle something loose if that's the case. Or, just have a fun time dancing!!!
