Gauges whacked out

1998 Intrigue

Oil Pressure-water temp-air pressure-AMP all will at times not always at the same time more often not, will show bad or no readings. Anyone had a similar situation?

obviously a wiring problem. Check for loose wires at the gauges or at the fuse block. Also look at the wire routing to check for pinch points that might be wearing the insulation and causing a short. Since it's all of them, I would suspect the ground is the most likely suspect.

Recently helped a friend with his 40ft boat. Gauges on the upper bridge were acting erratically along with navigation lights. Suspected a ground issue to confirm we ran a wire from a good ground up to the upper bridge. Everything came back as it should have.
We went back to all the ground bars and checked for loose connections, tightened all connections and we did not need the wire we ran
Hope you have found your issue and lets us know it could help others down the road
