Generator/Hurricane Exhaust Tip

A search of "exhaust tip" did not return anything relevant to my need.

Am looking for an exhaust tip for my generator. The exhaust pipe itself is 1.5" outside diameter. Therefore the inside diameter of the exhaust pipe tip should be slightly larger at, say, 1.515". Looks like the one in the image below.

NW RV supply has them in 2" but not 1.5".

Ideas?

TIA

In the '02 era, all of the exhaust tips were made by the same company that did all of the stainless logos installed on CCs. Company, of which I don't recall the name, was located on Old River Road headed towards Eugene.

All of the exhaust tips were made of stainless. Mine were installed by the company in August '01, not CC, at a cost of $125 for the engine exhaust, generator and Hurricane exhausts. Country Coach wanted over $300 for the same items.

That's in line with what I heard from the folks at Premier RV in Junction City.

Thanks for the background.

Thanks, but it's the straight tube, exterior roll tip that matches the Hurricane heater that I'm looking for. I'm probably going to go with your Summit find unless I can track down the maker of the original in the Junction City, OR, area. I suspect they no longer make them or are out of business.

Best,

It's amazing what Kevin Waite has stashed away, or knows where it can be found... If you want the OEM, give him a try...

(And you will always be a Diplomat kind of guy to me!)
Best,
Smitty

How about Standley Manufacturing?

Standley Manufacturing

They're east of the 99 and north of the 569 not far from Junction City.

FWIW

Best,

Thanks for the input.

Already sent an e-mail to Kevin. He's of the opinion that the Summit one is the most practical solution at this time.

Hey, I'm working on getting my Country Coach chops! I'm beginning to think that Junction City is my second home.

Best,

I do believe that's the guy. The first shop was behind his house and then he expanded. He is probably out of the rv business now. He made all the laser cut CC logos that were used on the coaches plus the CC for the rear mud flap. He also bent the brackets for the shocks that hold the bay doors shut and locked. When you dig into the coach, you will find other items that the shop made. They are little nickle and dime things but were needed to build the coach.
