My generater slide will not come out. My trouble shooting has elimated the fuseand switch.

Trying to get to the slide motor/actuater, but other than following wires I
don't know where to start.

also, is changing the slide motor/actuater for the do-it-yourselfer?

I am replacing the motor and gearbox

I am having the motor and gearbox replaced on my 2002 Affinity. Sounds like yours is not activating at all. Mine would come out and then it took two people to get it back in. My wife holding the button and me pushing and moving left to right. I am not trying to do this myself.
