House 12v out .. 1990 Concept

re: 1990 CC Concept 40' Gillig

The house 12vdc went out this weekend. Now no Air Conditioning !!! I tested the house battery with a VOM and it is fine showing 13.2 v. All lights and 12v outlets dead. The AC needs 12v so its out also with 90+degree days :( . I did look in the compartment by the steps and nothing looks burned out.

Is there a fuse somewhere ???!!

Check the house power switch (salesman switch) just inside the entry door. Might have turned it off accidently.

I had this same problem when I bought my 89 Concept. Spent the first two days on the road not knowing how to run the AC or any of the lights, in a heat way no less. I was sure happy when I flipped that switch.

Unhappy Yup!

Yes indeed - you have company! I apparently kicked the House power switch while retracting the door awning (stretching for the switch on tip-toes, right above that set of switches by the door). When the whole place went dark, I assumed the awning motor had failed and shorted something out. Spent an hour frantically looking at every fuse and breaker in the place. NADA! Finally called Junction City, and got ahold of Bob V at RCV Custom Coach. It took him about 3 seconds to set me straight! The really embarrassing thing is I'm an Electrical Engineer! DUH!!
