Very poor water pressure in the house led me to start looking for a water filter and I have come up blank. I have checked most of the locations other CC owners found them. One gentleman mentioned the faux cabinet to the left of the "propane" detector. I'm not sure if he meant smoke detector or in fact propane detector. My faux cabinet is to the right of said detector. Do I simply pop off those plugs and unscrew? see pic.
Next up is to replace the pump. How easy or hard is removing the panel in the water bay if I end up having to replace the pump? Looks easy enough, just lots fo this connected to it...
My coach is a 2004 40' Tag Intrigue Suite Sensation.
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Before you start digging in, I'll ask you if you've checked your faucet screens to make sure they are not clogged?
This has been something I have to do once a year, even though I filter all the water coming into the coach, and it's filtered again after the pump.
I once almost made the mistake of replacing a pump before I discovered this issue.
As for the pump location, I'm not familiar with your coach, but i would check first in the water heater area behind the easy to remove fill panel under your towel cabinet, that were i find mine, just a suggestion.

Good point on the screens. On several rigs when draining and winterizing it seems to pick stuff of the bottom of the tank and clog the screens. Mostly for me the kitchen sink as I let that run until everything is dry. Happened last two years. Maybe I should leave the filter in until everything is dry and blown out. Hmm, note to self....

Also check the little screen in the hose inlet where you connect to water. You will be amazed what collects in that screen. We were in Houston, TX few weeks ago and water flow stopped inside the coach. I thought the hose had frozen overnight (it was cold). I went outside and the hose was fine so I disconnected and inspected that screen. It was completely clogged with grit, scale, etc. We had been moving every day so I was not using my double water filter set up.

On our 07 Intrigue, the water filter is located behind a door in the water bay, however, the 07 Intrigue was when they changed to the chrome bay, so yours may differ. On our 06 Inspire, it was in one of the passenger side bays behind a door that was screwed into the rear wall of the bay (clearly marked). In addition to the water filter, clean your faucet screens and the water inlet screen. I've had to replace the Shurflow Pressure Saver Water Entry due to failed pressure reducers on 2 coaches. They're about $45 on Amazon and fairly easy to replace depending on your coach.
Our built in water filter is in the bay on the passenger side four doors back. You have to remove about 10 screws to get the plastic cover off. Our water pump is right next to that filter. I had to change out the water pump a couple years ago in an RV park in Ennis MT. It was pretty easy. Took me a couple of hours. I had an exact (almost) replacement with me.

I'm still looking for that darn water filter. My coach is a 40' tag so there are only 2 storage bays and leads me to think that it's elsewhere or non-existent. I have some interesting videos from yesterday if anybody would care to speculate on what's going on. Basically, the pump appears to be functioning properly. I went around the circuit testing the pressure and looking for drops and def gets weak after first couple 90's. Now, if I use city water, I def get better pressure but it's still very weak. Is it fair to assume that both the city and tank water would go through this mystery water filter? Please see the videos and let me know if you have any advice? I def have a clog somewhere... I did check all the screen and they were nasty, but not the culprit here. Thanks!
