Hwh air leveling problem

My HWH system will not go to travel mode. all other functions are working. fuses are all good in control box. Coach is a 1997 Intrigue. control box is the 9x14 with the 2" flat ribbon connector. The park/brake light on panel does not light when air brakes are set or released. Coach does not auto level when ignition is turned on. Any ideas ?? BB.

BBSON,

Had a similar problem on mine. The bendix low pressure air valve (switch) was bad. It didn't work, so it didn't apply a ground to the HWH system, so the coach didn't know when the park brake was on or off. Replaced it, and the 2 others next to it, and all was well. Valves on my 01 Affinity are in the compartmment directly below the driver, on the front bulkhead.
Just my .02
Luck
Bob

HWH problem

Bob, I am going to trace all air leveling lines tomorrow. I am guessing the low air pressure switch is on our near the manifold. I have been looking at some HWH diagrams and trying to make sense of it all. where did you buy the switches? BB.

HWH problem fixed

I called HWH and talked with Randy, one of their techs. It was the Yellow feed wire from the ignition. Nothing like an old fashioned phone call to figure it out. HWH is great. BB.

HWH Leveling sensor

BB,

Off hand, no I don't. But, in my coach literature, it gives the impression that generally they are located close to the middle of the coach. Says it should be somewhere close to the refrigerator. I will have a look at the coach, which is now in Tucson at Premiere Motorcoach having some repairs done. In fact I will be picking it up this weekend, so I will ask Eric Olstrum, owner of Premiere Motorcoach and former CC master Tech if he knows where it is.

Luck,
Bob
