Give HWH a call and ask if there's anything special you have to do. Can't hurt, might help, and the worst they can do is tell you to take a hike.

If you really get to talk to someone at HWH, ask them to please answer the email I sent them 3 weeks ago

Also, when I had to replace a leaking HWH hose on my previous coach, I just had a local auto parks store (Fisher/Federated) make up a good quality hydraulic hose for me. It was much better than the thermoplastic stuff HWH uses and cost less.

What coach and what year? Also which hose are you going to replace?

I had all if my hoses replaced at HWH back in '02 at no cost. Depending on which hose it is, it could be easy or hard.

the coach is a 2001 allure. the hose that is leaking is 150 inches long, per the part number tag, not sure which one it is until I take it apart, but suspect it goes from the generator compt to the upper aft corner of the fwd slide

I don't think that hose is 150 inches. If you have the slide which is around 18ft and then you have to go up to the top.

When HWH did our hoses, they took out the couch, the upper fascia, the microwave, and the spice cabinet. The hose originates in the propane tank compartment.
