l am having a problem with the electric side of the HH... I have tracked it back to the control board.. no power from that relay..
my question is can the relay be reset, or does the board have to be replaced., best place to purchase parts.. The board # is 00 00894-300.
I have bypassed the relay for the time being.
anybody done this before?

Have you asked Roger over at RV Hydronic Heater Repair. I'm new here but I suspect he does not look too closely to posts here, but monitors his own forum site quite regularly.

Brian thanks for responding, I am familiar with Roger and the HH forum but my problem is not with the HH, it is the EMS that has shed the water heater and does not reset when plugged into 50th service. not sure if the control board is bad, or can be manually reset. thanks

My bad - I did not appreciate your issue was with the EMS control board, and not the HH control board.

I am learning about my EMS system right now, as I have an intermittent flip from 50A to 30/20 amp service on my EMS while on generator power; it should be constant on 50A from my newby knowledge.

I found an online manual for my Intellitec Model 800; maybe it is similar to yours and may provide some help?

You have the same intellitec as mine, I have the 800 model...I've never paid much attention to mine, I mostly plug into 50amp..my water heater was not getting A/C power and I tracked it back to the control panel. ..hoping not to have to replace that thing as it cost about 300 bucks...so far have not been able to reset.

Smitty, my EMS was acting goofy last year but seems to have settled down for now. I spoke to Butch Williams who basically recommended by passing the thing and doing your own power management. I am sure there is a way to bypass the module that shuts off the power to the breaker to the heating element.

That's exactly what I was thinking, I am almost always plugged into 50amp and if not usually run the gen. ..yea it is easy to bypass, just move the wire over 1 terminal., that's what I did for now but will probably leave it that way for now.
