I like the new Chinese made Motor homes. Come with free Fortune Cookies and Egg Rolls.

CC's veranda approach is clever but I doubt it will do much to help reverse the plunging fortunes endemic to the RV industry. This "build 'em bigger, longer, higher, and heavier" mantra is increasingly out of touch with the new economics and "greening" of our culture.

All I want (and need) is a small lighter-weight, non-slide, diesel pusher the size of which lies somewhere between the Navion/Sprinter approach and the discontinued just over 30 foot models of old.

I don't believe I will hold my breath until that is available.

THEY ARE HISTORY.
Everyone in the area has known the inevitable for some time now. The last to know the present and future owners of a Country Coach vehicle.
Local news stations have been reporting on CC's anouncments. It has been mentioned that remaining coaches could possibly be aquired for 10 cents on the dollar.
(I told my friends in Juntion City to get me one.)
CC has not manufactured a coach for over 2 months.
The last 500 employees where laid off in November.
Operating with a skeleton crew of 83.
COUNTRY COACH is out of money.
Early December CC had only 12 remaining fully built Magnas/Affinity's. Thee were 2 PREVOSTS shells, 1 H3 and 1 XL. One of them had been wholesaled off by middle December.
It is true they are C.O.D. for anything in Lane County.
The only items CC has stood behind is what they legaly have too.
Someone said thier engineers are the best in the industry. What engineers, they are all history. That in itself is a hint for the future.
They had a great product but cut corners in manufacturing. those cut corners are now starting to show up in the later models. From 05 till present.
It can be said that the employees of COUNTRY COACH where some of the best in the industry.
In the next months industry names you never expected will vanish.
Can all manufacturing survive long enough for thier till
Thier "O" check arrives?
(As a service to CC owners)
As for Bob Lee, He stood up to the plate and opened "OREGON MOTOR COACH CENTER". It is located just down the road apiece from CC. Not affiliated in any way with Country Coach he hired the best techs, engineers and designers from CC.
The center can repair, refurbish and redesign your CC or any other high end coach.
