Intermittant power check engine light..

So speaking of electrical issues. The other day I had the coach at the truck shop replacing a ride height valve. in doing so we had the key left on so we could dump and go into travel mode a few times. While key was on the engine warning light came on and it threw an intermittent power code to my silverleaf. Ok so figured because the key was left on no biggie. Cycled a few more times code and light gone. Now, I go to fire up to leave, hit the starter and the starter did two quick stops if you will but coach turned over and fired. As if you let off the starter and went right back to start. So it may seem like I have a relay going bad that supplies the power to the engine? I read somewhere from the key switch there is a relay that powers up the motor and things in the rear. Does anyone remember this thread or know what relay ish I could try to look at? I am now going to check batt and starter connections at least. Heading from Ocala fl to Myrtle tomorrow and don 't want any sunday problems. Thanks all.

are you talking about the starter relay? it is at my right hand side right below the signal control board at about bumper height.

the symptom you described makes me thinking if you'd need to change the fuel filters...

Your batteries may have been run down from the key being left on.

Your crank, stop, crank, stop condition is a sign of low cranking power. The first and second compression strokes almost stop the rotation and then it gets turning enough the heat the combustion chamber and fire.

Check all of the connections and maybe give the batteries a load test, if they are a few years old, or have been left discharged a few times.

Doesn't sound fuel related to me.

No not fuel related. I am getting a check engine light for intermittent power. Plenty of cranking power it was just interrupted while cranking, not slow. She fired off this winter no problem in 20 degree morning. It is as if the key switch or something triggering the power on process is getting intermittent. Like a bad key switch or relay wearing out. I am going to eye everything up and see if any rodents have had a snack too.
