In a year such as 2005, where was Intrigue in the CC line up? Or, how would it compare to the Allure, Magna, etc?

The intrigue is between the allure and magna. Each model up just has more bells and whistles.
Intrigues are great coaches. Friend has one they bought new, loves it and has had no problems with it

Just my opinion, but all Country Coach motor homes are high end. When we were looking 3 years ago 2005 Intrigues usually had beautiful interiors. They are also one of the very highest rated motor homes by the RVCG for that year. Some Intrigues got 5 stars.

But to answer your specific question the lowest cost is Allure, then Intrigue, then the highest of these three is Magna.

We felt the Intrigue, in the 2003-2005 model years, was the sweet spot of the CC line up. Some Intrigues, I think starting in 2004, could be optioned out with teh Big Cat.

We ended up with a 2004 Allure and the ISL, due to interior items we were looking for. (Wife wanted a big Galley, in the Non Slide side - our High Cascade model has a Galley bigger then most 45' coaches.) The cabinet quality is the same level as the Intrigue to Magna. The Allure does have less goodies, but had the base Chassis and Hydro Hot that we desired. It also has less 'glitz', but that is a personal thing.

The Intrigue is a fine coach. Best of luck,

Inspire, which debuted in 2004, is the entry level CC.

The 2005 Intrigue in the 40' and 42' models were rated 4.5 stars in the RV Consumers Group rating. Most of the the other country coach models were rated in the 3.5 to 4 star group. With the exception of the 34' Allure which was only 3 stars (total max rating is 5 stars 4.5 is the highest rating for any class A)
If you want more information go to rv.org and buy their product it's well worth it.
