Inverter

I have found that my inverter is bad, I am looking for a Xantrex prosine true wave 3.0.

They have been discontinued .

The new Xantrex freedom SW3012 is about $1600.
The bigger issue is that the new unit will not communicate to the Silver Leaf , and I have two of the 3.0 units. so if I by one and update my Silver Leaf then the other good unit will not communicate to the existing 3.0 good unit.

So do I put in two new inverters and update the silver leaf or try and find a used inverter and buy some time ?

your input please .

Perhaps the inverter can be repaired?

Randy-

I may have a free solution for you as I replaced my 3.0 with the new 3012. PM me and I'll give you my number. Easier to explain the details over the phone than type a long message here. I'll call the shop that did the work for me to make sure they still have my old one. They are not open until later this morning as they are in Oregon.

You can go with a magnum inverter if you go new. You might try and call Oregon Motor Coach. They pulled out a 2000 watt Xantera out of my coach and they may still have it sitting around somewhere. Good Luck

Thanks , if I can find a 3.0 soon I may go that route if not I plan to just put all new in and hope the reprogramming goes well . I live in an are that doesn't really have a high end coach dealer and no one will even look at it around here. CC said they have done them and have had little if any issues.

You can get a Magnum 2812 here for $1433.01 with Free Shipping and the Magnum is a better inverter than the Xantrex freedom. You will need a new controller also. Magnum Energy MS2812 2800 Watt 12V 125A Pure Sine Wave Inverter/Charger
