Magnum Energy, whatever size you want either a MSW or a PSW version. I would go with at least a 2000 watt model. The cheapest place to purchase from is: https://www.imarineusa.com/. Free shipping also

Ironic, 1990 concept and my pacs has been acting up and or died. It will not come on without playing with the switches several times and it gets harder everytime to get it to come on. The fan has gotten loud as well.
I was thinking xantrex 3000

X 2 with Magnum. Their products are solid, and customer service is good too.

How large is/are your breaker(s) going to the inverter? This will tell you how large an inverter you can install. No need to buy more inverter than you can use. I would suggest a pure sine wave. Newer appliances with digital controls usually don't do good on modified sine wave.

I could fix mine if I had a diagram for the inverter. I had bad batteries and fried one of the resisters It burned off the part number of the piece i need if you get yours out or take the cover off i could use some info off yours. I would rather keep this one going rather than replace at this time . whats your plan for yours?

Thanks for that info, I am going look into them. Still not sure how much trouble it is to change these out. Do I get to toss the convereter/ charger too ? My set up has a small converter/charger and a inverter.

This must be the week for inverters crapping the bed. My Freedom 20 in my 2000 Intrigue apparently failed. No electricity without generator running. Luckily roof solar charging batteries but what a PITA!
I’m looking at replacing with either a 2500 or 3000 watt one. Any suggestions?

There are two inverters well known - Magnum and Victron. Both of their 3000w versions are robust - fully configurable (compatible with lithium), PSW and prices are in the same par. But for our CCs, Magnum is probably the only option as it can fit in the inverter compartment above the battery tray while Victron can not.
I bought an MS2812 in 2016 with a special buy. Were it in regular price I would have grabbed the MSH3012M. These two have the same footprint, either will work.

What we have recommended to you are inverter-charger combo's. It inverts or charges house battery at the rate of 120A at 12v nominal when shore power is present or genset is running. The swap is at medium level in difficulty scale. If you are familiar with home electrical, you shouldn't have problems to DIY in your RV.

Any experience with the Xantrex 458 Unit? I’m trying to be economical née cheap. Still recovering financially from cancer treatments.

Just to add the charger sections on the inverters are very good and will help your batterys last longer.

Sorry to know you had to go through that, hope you have a fully speedy recovery!
My only experience with Xantrex was Heart Interface 20D, the same one you have. Xantrex bought Heart Interface and made it as 458. Personally I had no exposure to 458. Hopefully some one will chime in.
I just read user comments about it on Amazon. Seems like pretty iffy https://www.amazon.com/Xantrex-Freed...ustomerReviews

Thanks for your kind words.
Based on everything I read later on the Xantrex I ordered the Magnum MS2812 pure sine wave 2800W inverter charger this morning. Cost me a hair over $1330 but included free shipping and no tax. I saw the same inverter as high as $1900 so I think I got a pretty good price. I’ve got everything ready on my end with the Heart 20D ready to yank out. Country Coach should and could have done a much better job of protecting the inverter. When I pulled the cover off the front of the inverter compartment there was a good inch of dirt on top of the old inverter.
