Issue with air-only leveling system

Hello folks. I'm having an issue with my air-only leveling system (no jacks). The left front side will not raise on my 2003 Country Coach Allure #30856. When pressing the raise button for the left side,* I have DC power to the left front raise solenoid but hear no "clicking" when 12 volts is applied.* I took the solenoid off and applied 12 volts and the magnet seemed weak to me,* but it also seemed weak on the dump solenoid above it that is working. I can get air in the LF air bag by pressing the "RAISE"* (whole coach) button with engine running (travel mode) . My questions is;*has anyone seen the magnets on these solenoids fail? I might disassemble the valve to try and clean/loosen it up. TIA.

Larry, 03 Allure 30856

To answer your question, YES! I had the right rear "travel" solenoid fail on my 1997 Intrigue recently. If your coach has the manifold with 6 solenoids on it they should be the same part #. It would be easy enough to swap the solenoids to verify whether you have a dead one or not. My bad one was full of corrosion when I opened it up.

Wow! That looks pretty rough. I had the magnet part out and I didn't see anything like that. Haven't taken the valve itself out yet though. Thanks Motorhead-54.

The other side looked fine. Given that they were 17 years old I opted to replace both the left and right travel solenoids. Thinking about it, the travel solenoids by far have the highest duty cycle.
