Gettin the bugs out!

Hi Mike,
There has been a multitude of things that were wrong with this coach from day one. I custom built this Intrigue inside and out, from the paint to the interior. Two trips to the factory, one in March and one April 2007 for the design work and a third trip in late August to pick up the coach. I worked for months with a wonderful person, Carolyn Gsell at the factory and my sales person Susan Graham from Guaranty Rv in Junction City, Oregon. I did a two week factory delivery when it should have been three to four days, 39 problems with it when the factory handed it over to me on day one, at least that was all I could identify while I was there. I finely had to leave to get back home after two weeks but CC did fix all but 2 items. Smart Tire never worked from day one and a intermittent squeak in left front axle area. It took almost a year to get the Smart Tire working correctly and it turned out to be my shocks that were causing the squeak. The quality control was terrible, had I not been a pain in the you know what most of these things would not have been repaired until I got back to Los Angeles thru a dealer or repair shop as warranty work. It took the first year and half to get this coach running inside and out just about perfect, a lot of hard work and patients. Country Coach does make a wonderful product but I would have to say that maybe bad management results in bad quality control. I believe if I stay on top of any problems that arise in the future that this coach will continue to be one of the finest motor coaches made. I still find it amazing to own.

Problems from day one

Unfortunately we have had similar problems as Ben, quality control from the factory was bad and just about the time we starting getting a few things resolved CC went out of business. We have a ongoing overheating problem that maybe someone can suggest solutions. I have used just about every Southern California service trying to solve it.

Hello -

I've already posted a thread but somehow missed this section. I'd like to join the forum as a new RV owner!
My wife and I have our first RV - 1989 Country Coach Concept and are loving it! We've only made 2 short trips in it - but no true vacations yet. We're planning on that in a couple weeks!

Love this forum as it has a wealth of knowledge to which we hope to share!

Thanks and happy rv'ing!

Please add me to your list. We are new to Country Coach, but know they are one of the best. We bought an older one and we desperately need manuals. Altho if there is someone out there that has one for a 1986,maybe they can share info from theirs.
