It's been years since we were there. Kind of looked at buying a lot on the waterfront but just didn't want to be tied down and feeling like we had to use it all the time. Think it was 104 as I remember.

We plan on heading up there one of these days. Funny I keep a picture of
that place as a desktop. Looks like a really great place.

We're looking forward to a potentially wet and chilly 10 days their in October.

I've always thought pulling into the ocean view lot, and kicking back for awhile, would be a blast. We saw a fellow RV'er who had a spot available on one of the rows back a bit further, that was quite a bit more gentle to our wallet!

So, if any of you are visiting in mid October, watch for two people and a silly dog, sitting in their beach chairs somewhere along the bluff!!!

The spot we looked at was just to the left of the last one on the left of this picture. Still think it was 104 but not sure anymore.

Gorgeous place for sure. We tried to get in there last July but it was full. We ended up at Newport Harbor RV Park which was fine but certainly not Pacific Shores.

Reminded us a bit of Mountain Falls RV Resort in western NC (but with the Pacific ocean as your view instead of the NC mountains).

Not much outside the rig activity there, even in August. But great views, organized rv park and cool air.

The trek down to the beach with the dog is excellent.

$100 a night for the view is great for the 1st night.

Nope...104 is right next to the lower pool/laundry bldg...no where close to the front row. The one to the left of the last mh on the left would be site 168.

Here is a layout of the park with site numbers:
