Kevin Waite Junction City OR Experience
I would like to share with you our very positive experience. While on a trip our alternator failed and decided to try Kevin Waite since there were so many positive comments on the forum. We called him and he returned the call right away- that's something new for us. Kevin informed us that his chassis person would do the work and we were taken in right away. His chassis person is Brian Schack, Schack Repair, who is very professional and knowledgeable. Brian offered us a parking spot with 50amp service and started on the work immediately. While there he noticed that our hydraulic cooler was leaking, something we had not noticed before, and he was correct. We were not aware of this since we had just had the radiator replaced approx. 2yrs ago and thought this was done at that time. What could have been a lengthy downtime, Kevin and Brian were able to have the parts fabricated, purchased and installed in a couple of days. We were impressed with both Kevin Waite and Brian Schack. We will be returning to Brian next Spring for a complete chassis check up so that we can schedule any further maintenance that might be required. After extensive maintenance with other shops in the Eugene area over the years, we can highly recommend both Kevin and Brian. Kevin Waite: 541-953-6162. Brian Schack: 541-513-5224.

I agree with all of this. I am a mechanic and fairly good at fixing most things but, finding parts is the problem. I have used Kevin for several parts to order that I couldn't easily cross reference, front air bags for example. He is now on my speed dial and might know my name LOL. Great guy and amazing contacts. I recommend his services all day long!

I don't have the part numbers. My local shop for suspension work couldn't cross reference them. Country Coach wanted 600.00 something per bag which is crazy and a 6 week wait. Kevin found bags by another manufacturer for 300.00 something a bag, still expensive but had no choice. Geive kev a call.

Any suggestions for those of us on the East Coast that are looking for great CC service? Eventually, I will get to the West Coast, but not for a couple of years.

Where are you on the east coast? We are on the east coast also, pa, se pa and I have found a few shops that are decent. I only am speaking of truck shops or chassis shops for engine and suspension things. I haven't needed any house specific service yet. What I have needed were parts and I got them from Kev Waite and did the work myself. Let me know what you are looking for and I will see if I can help.

I am in Massachusetts (Springfield). January will be our first time using the coach so I don't have immediate needs... just trying to be prepared.
I found a couple of Cummins shops near me, so hopefully one of them will work out. Would be nice to have someone do the PTO mod that has already done one.

Butch Williams is no longer in Florida. He is back in Pacific Northwest.

Kevin Waite/Parts
I called Kevin several years ago looking for a lighted grab handle for our 2003 CC Allure. He returned my call the next day and said he had a handle. The really good thing about this handle, is that it's stainless steel, not the chrome plated one they installed in 03. There was no shipping charge. I received the handle 2-3 days later. It was a perfect fit. It was service at it's best. So needless to say, when ever I need parts, you know whom I'll call. Thanks, John S.

Does anyone have the best choice for computer problems with my 98 CC Concept ? I have shop in Wi who hase done me well the last 3 years. However , I am in Central coastal Calif. for the winter and my coach has several problems in the system that on one around here can handle. I made an apt. with CC/Winabago in Jct city for the 30th. Is anyone out west a better choice with electronics , like kevi Wate ? We have jury rigged the bypass of the inverter outlets so we do have DC lights, still no Wabasto along with internal over head control of DC functions. Any thoughts would be welcome.
