Late Model Affinity Issues

Hello, all!

We're looking at a very nice 2008 Affinity. I'm very familiar with the various issues a Magna may be afflicted by when looking at a used one, but not so sure on the Affinity.

Someone just mentioned that the flush windows are prone to both leaking and fogging...and that replacement, unlike the Magnas, are almost impossible as they tend to shatter upon removal.

Is anyone aware of this, or other issues?

You're help appreciated!!!

Mark

Hi Mark,

Can't really answer your question, but sure someone will.
You might get additional input if you join and post to the Yahoo CC users group.

Mark we love our affinity. Ours is not that new though. We have had no issues that you mention.

If a cat engine with a PTO, as I just learned from a previous post, check to see if the dry PTO/Power steering fix has been done. An aftermarket wet kit is available to avoid the potential failure.

Dean, Thanks! I actually had just heard about that too. Found that the current owner had just had the work done - and it applies to Cummins engines as well (as this one is equipted with one).
