Looking For Fan-Tastic Vent Part

Anybody have a lead on one of these? Fan-Tastic Vent has been sold to Atwood and the service for legacy products is no longer what it was.

I think the part number is 6038-18. Calls in to NW RV supply and Veurinks.

TIA

I have a Fan-Tastic vent that needed the larger garnish. I phoned the customer number for Fan-Tastic Vent and was able to get the part. Even though they are under Atwood now, they are still servicing the parts for their products. I have spoken to other customers, who are not having problems getting parts from them.

Yes, well it depends on the part. I spoke with the factory and they stopped making the speed controller that I need and have none in stock. Their only solution is to upgrade the fan at $200 to $250 depending on where you find it. They do not sell them directly.

FWIW

I have that part, we just replaced both fans as they were old and tired but I believe the control is still OK. Get me an address and I will put it in the mail.

==!!! Warning! Warning! --- Not so funny post to follow! !+==

Any chance that your engine might need replacement too? If it's either a BIG BLOCK CAT or DETROIT, I'd be willing cover half of the shipping costs to my locations Oh yeah, suppose the Allison 4000 should come with it as a package... No worries, I'll flush and upgrade to Transyn if needed...

This is what I like about RV'ers, and fellow CC owners. We all have each others back!!

That was a classy thing to do!

Best to all, have fun, be safe,
Smitty

I agree, Smitty. Now I'm looking for a light bulb and am happy to pay for it if I can find a source.

Will post a new thread for that.

Thanks again, kustomizer!

As predicted, it arrived today. Thanks again, kustomizer!

As luck would have it, one of my original leads bore fruit and I have a new push-button controller on the way. In the interim I learned that there are two wiring versions of these older controllers. Some are two-wire and some are three-wire. Mine is three-wire. So, I make the same offer as kustomizer and will send it to anyone needing a two-wire controller free of charge.

Best,
