Looking for some help about CC???

I hope someone can help me? I am looking to buy a 2004, 2005, or a 2006 Country Couach Intrigue Ovation. With that said, can you tell me the Good things to look for? The Bad things, and yes the Ugly things to look for.The Intrigue I would like to buy is one that has 3 to 4 slides, 40 to 42 feet long, a tag, cummins 370 to 400 HP.

Thank You
Mike & Sharon

We have a 2006 40' Country Coach Intrigue. We bought it used in 2007 with 3,000 miles on it. Ours has the 525 Cat engine and 4 slides. The radio/rearview monitor/nav system is wired to be "always on", we had to replace ours this Spring, but a good way around that is to remove the face plate. Ours had the aluminum core radiator problem, but after replacement, all is well. Also there is the PTO problem, an easy fix, but you should make sure that whatever coach you are looking at has had that checked out. I don't think that the radiator and PTO are issues related solely to Country Coach. Our Intrigue has Aqua-Hot (love it) radiant heated tile floors and a Splendide washer/dryer combo. Since 2007 we have put approximately 25,000 miles on the coach and are for the most part very pleased. We lived in it while travelling in Alaska for 2-1/2 months last summer and were never claustrophobic. Because the Intrigue is a pretty heavy coach, you might be wise to look at a larger engine. We live in the West so the coach has had to do some climbs going down the road. the C-13 Cat gets the job done with power to spare and actually gets better mileage than the 350 Cummins we had in our previous RV.
