LP Detector

I have a 2001 Affinity Coach and was wondering if any one knew where I could get an LP detector with cut off valve hard wired tank. It won't release the gas and need to replace. Any ideas...thanks

Give the folks at Oregon Motor Coach a call. I had mine replaced by them a couple of years ago on my 2002 coach.

LP Detector

BobHoy,

Just google "safe-t-alert 70-742-r-kit" it was the direct replacement for the one in my 01 Affinity.

Luck,

Bob

LP Detector

Hi,

Sate T Alert is made by MTI industries. They are still in business.

I just replaced mine. Be advised, the detectors now have a 5 year life span. At the end of the five years, they shut down, and beep constantly. You have to either by pass it, or replace it.

Luck,

Bob

I went with the safe-t-alert replacement on my 2001 Intrigue. Someone had removed the shut off valve so I replace it too. I like the idea that the propane will shut off if a leak is detected. I did have to make the hole for the l.p. detector a little bigger so it would fit.
