Magna gen start not working

Finally got a chance to take a look at the gen set.
The gen slide plunger switch is set correctly and it free to move. Still no start using any of the interior switches nor the VMS ones but the start switch on the gen set works fine.
Taking the MH schematics with me to work so I can take a look at them. Hope my reading glasses are strong enough to see the fine print.

The emote is controlled by silverleaf and I think is either in the 102 module or another module. They are connected via network so I think you may want to call Mark at silverleaf to troubleshoot.

Mr. D, if you are a do it yourself kind of guy like me, I might suggest you subscribe to Kevin Waite's annual unlimited tech support. For a reasonable fee, you get access to not only Kevin but his BIL Butch Williams who is also a former CC expert and is the electrical whiz. I bought the service in my first year of ownership and easily saved more than I paid in avoided labor fees and travel to RV repair shops. I got it again this year.

Either of these guys can talk you thru a fix of most anything related to the coach.

In addition to Kevin Waite, I'd expect that if this another problem with this coach (And not a person behind the switch error!) - that Premier would have their full staff ready to talk you thru any debugging problems.

As I recall, they had 'Gone thru everything, and everything was 'a go'...

Just my opinion,
Smitty

I agree, in fact the PDI they did, did not even include starting the gen set, just showed me the controls, even my wife remembers that they never actually started it for us.
Also the blinds don't work right.
But right now the DW's health has taken a downturn so that'll have to come first.

Mr. D., you just can't catch a break, can you. Hope you get the generator issue worked out, and we'll all pray for your wife!

Take care of your lady, that is important, the rest is all noise level...

Best wishes to you both,
Smitty

The gen start didn't work from the start, didn't work the whole trip and still doesn't work even after Cummins disconnected the batteries for 5 weeks at their shop. But I'll go reset the system just in case. The plunger switch checks OK too.

Nope, reset of the system didn't do anything either, and I took my VOM to the switch on the gen slide and it's working fine.
Guess a call or email to SilverLeaf is in order.

Mr D, I totally agree with this suggestion. Their service is 24/7 and I don't think there's anything they don't know about CC's. I called them several times a year when I had my CC and the cost of the service was worth every dime.

Probably good advice. But on Friday we got bad, maybe very bad news about my wife's health so now just waiting to be scheduled for more tests. Not making any long range plans right now.

Sorry to hear that. Will pray for both of you and for her return to good health.

Thanks as we can only hope and pray but the Dr. wasn't too hopeful.
