Magne Shade for '09 Magna
Trying to order one now, Has anyone had one made for a CC with the same windshield as I have? They don't seem to have a pattern for that year/model and are wondering if another model/year might be the same.

I have one on our coach, but I have no idea if our windshields are even closely similar. Sure do like mine, tho.
Hard to believe they don't have a pattern for your year/model. Might call Premier or Oregon Motor Coach or Winnebago and ask about the changes in windshields.

Carl:
I know a lot of the CC's used the same windshield and that's been confirmed by Damon Rapozo.
Magne Shade's Magna shade is for a 2002 and we know that's wrong.

All I know is that they got away from split windshields in 2006. Good luck finding out the data. Sure is a lot easier putting up the MS shade than the snap on one I had on the prior coach, which necessitated a ladder to install and remove!
On a similar note, I got 2 of the Magne Shade tire covers. Pretty nice (albeit pricey).

Just finished our Magne Shade install yesterday.
They had emailed me an attachment with the measurements of my windshield and side windows to confirm the proper size. Not even close. Guess there aren't that many 2009 Thor (four winds) magellans out there. Thier measurements were now where what i had so they sent me in the mail a pattern making kit, big piece of brown paper and instruction on how to do. It was very simple with the help of a friend, took maybe 45min. Mailed that back to them and then a little over 2 weeks our shades arrived.
A perfect fit and i do mean PERFECT and as others have said superior quality. My friend who helped me is a master sail maker and he was impressed with the quality of the build and the technology.
I did have to temporarily remove my front MCD shade and the valance the shade was mounted on to get access to the inside top of the windshield for the upper magnet install. This was the hardest and most time consuming part of the Magne shade install.

Yep, pattern material on the way. Guess I'll be a "guinea pig" for them. Hard to believe that the only Magna pattern they have is for an '02.
