Matching TriMark keys won't turn bay locks

Just acquired this 2005 Country Coach Alure 430 and can't lock the bays. The correct key goes in but won't turn. Just put a new battery in the remote and it has power, but won't lock or unlock anything. Can't find the e-FOB box and don't know about re-programing it anyway. OK guys, I'm listening.

Locks may need lubricating. I am moving your post into the Country Coach Owners Forum for members to help you find and program the electric locks. Good luck and keep us posted.

Maybe a dumb question, my keys will go in either way. Right side up and upside down, but will only operate the locks the right way way up. Have you turned the key over?

I had to spray all my locks down when I first bought my Rig. Sitting at the dealer always being washed and never exercising the locks made mine stick I guess. I soon got them all working but it took some time.

It was obvious to me and others that the key should go in only one way, but inserting the key 180 degrees solved the "problem". Thanks mahon1993! Now it's just the remote locking procedure that I still need to learn.

On my coach the Tri-Mark keys for the bays are double cut, they can be inserted eitehr way, and they work either way. Don't matter.

Door keys are single cut (one way only) won't go in the wrong way.

One other key is double cut as well (This one for a switch I never use, it kid-proofs the slides, I have no kids to proof)

I do, however, have an opinion of Tri-Mark locksets... I won't exactly say what it is but let's just say they are "High maintenance" and leave it there. I fix too many of them.

And I only work on ONE RV... MINE!
