Exclamation Middle-Tennessee Members...Please Read

Some of you may have already read what is going on with our longest standing iRV2 Administrator, Hitchhiker. Richard has been diagnosed with a bone cancer…as you can read about in this thread.
He is undergoing treatment now at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The hospital is not in his neighborhood (or even the same state that he lives) so he and his wife Sylvia opted to have their Fifth Wheel moved near the Medical Center.
Richard will not have much energy as he goes through the treatments –and I am sure Sylvia will have her hands full just looking after Richard…so for those reasons I am now asking for some volunteers who live in or will be passing through the Nashville area. We need volunteers who can go by periodically to help with the “RV living” chores and maintenance that will be required when one lives in their rig full-time.
I know they would appreciate anything that you might be able to do…including “dumping the tanks” or helping wrap the water lines if that has not been done yet. It would be great if maybe a couple of you might belong to a local RV club that could maybe share the “work load”. It would also be appreciated if we had one of the handyman type members that could go by to check in every once in awhile.
Can you please either post in that thread or PM me so that some sort of schedule can be made.
Hitchhiker has given so much to the iRV2 Community – It is now time that we try to give back a little to him. Thank you for anything you can do for Hitchhiker and his wife.
Respectfully,
MonacoMama

I am a couple of hours away but can be scheduled to make a trip and take care of repairs. We are keeping Richard and Sylvia in our prayers.

MonacoMama,

My name is Gary, and I'm one of the Administrators on the NuWa Owners Forum site. I've relayed this information to our forum members, and hopefully you'll be receiving some help in the not too distant future. Richard (Hitchhiker), is a wonderful man, and is a great contributor to our Forum as well.

Please send me (by way of my email), your contact information, so I may direct any of our members that can help your way.

We'll be keeping Richard in our thoughts and prayers.

Gary (Kicked-Ash) - gary@nuwaowners.org

Thumbs up

Gary...Thank You very much! I am going to send you my contact info shortly. You can also find a bit more information at the Original thread about HitchHiker.

Thank You so very much - it is wonderful to see that there are still caring people in the world.

MonacoMama,

One of our Forum members has also made contact with Richard, and in fact, Richard just posted on our Forum about all the out-pouring for him and his wife Sylvia today. I'll be standing by.

Thank You for the update, Kicked-Ash...it now looks like Richard wants to go ahead and arrange things himself from here on out - but I am happy that I could make this mass post in all Owner Forums to get things started. -
Will everyone please contact Richard directly from here on out. My services are no longer needed.
